The year 2012!

Yes, the year 2012. It has been predicted that the year 2012 is full of secrets. You would be knowing that the world will end on 25th December, 2012. Let’s see how far the prophecy carries truth in itself. But, yes, it may be right. Who knows what will happen tomorrow.

And I have a question that why Mayan had ended the calendar at 2012? This is main secret of this year. As per this the world is going to end on 25th December, 2012. So, hold your breath and have patience. There are scientists who have said that on that day there may be drastically change in atmosphere. Also, it is assumed that all the planets will come on a line and the gravitational law would have different effect.

Whatsoever truth is? We have to wait till the date. So, before it comes don’t do anything wrong. Have positive attitude and face the reality. Accept the nature of law. This is what we can do without any reason.

Sex Tax Meters

It would look absurd on first place while hearing about sex tax meters. Yes, you are right. Germany has introduced 'sex tax meters'. The German city of Bonn has implemented "sex tax" meters for street prostitutes in an attempt to tax the oldest profession of the world.

In Bonn, prostitution is legal between 8.15pm to 6am, Monday to Sunday. Prostitutes who are working on the streets of West German capital will now have to buy a ticket from converted roadside vending machines before starting their working day.

A night's ticket will set a sex worker back £5.30, irrespective of the number of clients they have. If a police officer catches a sex worker violating this law; they will be fined or banned from working.

German government has taken a wise step towards strengthening economy. Don't you think so? What about India???

Dalwada

If you are in Ahmedabad and fortunately it’s raining, you are lucky! Because you can enjoy crispy and crunchy Dalwadas. Especially in monsoon, Dalwada eating adds its taste to the pouring rain. Amdavadies love to gorge on Dalwada. Dalwadas are available around the year. You can taste it anytime during the day.

However, monsoon and winter are the seasons when you can cherish the taste. There are so many Dalwada vendors in the city. But, the two of them are the most famous. Aanad Dalwada and Gujarat Dalwada. They have maintained the taste. Aanad Dalwada is serving for last 6 decades.

Dalwadas are served with fried chilies and salted onions with squeezed lemon. And of course, chutney is there to dip in. Many times in monsoon, you will have to wait in queue for dalwads. Even if you are passing near by the roadside, you just feel greedy to gorge on dalwadas because of its appetizer smell.

So be the lucky one and enjoy Dalwadas with friends!

Anna Wins : India wins

It has been universally accepted that SATYE MEV JAYTE. Truth always wins. And all Anna supporters and Indians are celebrating the victory of the Lok Pal Movement. Yes, Anna Hazare team has finally won and the government has accepted Anna's demand for Lok Pal Bill.

This is another very powerful example of unity. If we are united, can achieve anything what is to be achieved. At last time, Bollywood star Aamir Khan came on Ramlila Maidan to support Anna.

Today, Anna will end his fast at 10am. Due to his sheer commitment this happened. On behalf of all Indians who could not come at Ramlila but supported Anna wherever they were, I salute Anna. Jai Hind. Let's make India the best being responsible for our work and duty professionally as well as personally.

Chocolates

It is one of the sweetest sweets that you can have it anytime, anywhere. Any ideas! What I mean? Yes, you may be correct. It's chocolate. You die for it, aren't you? Even, I can’t stop me.

Chocolates are delicious, tasty and addictive. Once you unwrap them, there is no one who will stop you from eating. But, chocoholics should know some facts about the chocolates before they eat. We should care for out health. Because, anything in access becomes poison.

Researchers say that chocolate is made from plants and contains many of the health benefits of dark vegetables. These benefits are from flavonoids, which act as antioxidants. Antioxidants protect the body from aging caused by free radicals, which can cause damage that leads to heart disease.

Also, it is proved that chocolate is addictive and works like a drug. It contains stimulant substances, also called opioids like caffeine, theobromine and methylxantines which will make people more relaxed.

I would like to make you aware that chocolate contains a lot of sugar and fats but also some chemicals which lower the risk of some cancers and heart diseases. Especially dark chocolate contains flavanoids and antioxidants which lower your blood pressure and has a positive influence on the condition of your heart as long you don't exaggerate.

A new study shows now also that chocolate is good for your memory. Chocolate contains the chemical "epicatechin" which improves the blood flow in your brains.

Enjoy chocolates with your friends but be cautious!

Anna : The Passion of India

In India, anti-corruption air is blowing heavily. It is also carrying positive attitude. I am stumbled upon seeing the fashionable and so-called modernized guys and gals wearing an old man’s cap, following a 74 years old man. Even it is more surprising that the person is no more a celebrity or not a Bollywood star. Then the question arises is why they all are following him? Who is he?

I hope we all know the answer. It is a buzz in today’s India. Where ever we go, we see the youngsters wearing a cap with pride. And that cap has a tag line: I’m Anna. It is Anna. Our Anna Hazare. He is not a celebrity, not a Bollywood star, even not a business tycoon nor a politician. Even he is not associated with any game. However, he has led the anti-corruption game. Because, he is simply Anna. He carries no burden of hypocrisy. But it is sure that he is a passionate. He has the passion to demolish corruption. He wants corruption free India.

That’s why, these guys & gals, from 18 to 30 years of age, are following him. Because of his positive passion, some of the Bollywood personalities have joined him. They have shown their support. It won’t be exaggeration, if I call him a modern Gandhi. I call him a Gandhi is because of his spirit for India.

Anna carries simplicity. He believes in simple living high thinking. He has awakened all Indians. Today, the newspapers, the news channels, the media and internet are speaking about Anna. Anna is a lighthouse. He has shown the path. And he started what others wanted to do. He is a real leader.

After Libya, it’s India’s turn. I’m more amazed seeing, watching, reading the news that not a single politician has given a statement. Every politician is dumb. As the woodworms decay the wood from inside, our politicians are decaying our India.

Thanks to Anna! He has lighted up the hope for better India. Now, it’s our turn to be passionate, to be one and united Indians. Let’s fire the passion carrying true responsibility.

KRISHNA

It is a sheer bliss just to think about Krishna, to contemplate about Kanha, to ponder on Lalla. Krishna symbolizes celebration. The celebration of life.

Today, there is a reason to be joyous, to be celebrating because it is a day of Krishna' birth. People of India know it as Janmashthami - Janam Aatham. As per the Gujarati calendar, Krishna was born on 8th in the month of Shravan (shravan Mas) at the midnight.

Krishna is the eighth child of Devaki and Vashudev. However, he was brought up by Yashodhara and Nandaraj. That is why Krishna is known as Yashoda ka Lalla. Krishna is believed as one of the avataras as per hindu mythology. But, those who go on deep trancsdetal experience can feel Krishna at the moments. So, there is no question about whether he is a real figure or a mythological character.

Krishna is a flowering of a man. As a flowered rose gives fragrance, a common human being can give fragrance being a god. This proves that a man's flowering is to be a god or rather to possess godliness. Krishna possesses that charm. That's why we all are attracted towards Him. If he is present physically or not, still today people love, pray Krishna.

Krishna is a supreme being. He is a perfect human being. It is said that he is one of the best politicians. Krishna told the Bhagawat Gita to Arjuna on the battlefield of Mahabharata. And shown his supreme being to Arjuna with Divya Chakshu (third eye).

There are people who love Krishna's being differently. Some love a child Krishna; some love a young Krishna while others love a perfect political Krishna. But, above all, Krishna is just Krishna.

Are we developed ?

Today's era is known as modern time. And, we also know it as '21st Century'. This is the time when we have the best technology available to make life easy. In each and every field such as science, computer, business, industry, education and so on... we are at the best.

However, simultaneously, people are suffering. The invention is not helpful in its fullest way. Because of much use of any product invented through science, the human being is passing through the chaos. People are mentally sick though they have enough to live. Is this called "DEVELOPMENT ?". Some of the good natured are making us aware about the environment. They are shouting and appealing the whole human being to save the planet earth.

You see, how poor we are ! We have to learn to save water, save electricity, grow trees and what not... And this is the reason I have a question : "are we developed ?".

Lets be aware of what we are doing to give something better to the next generation.
